Happy New Year to everyone on the stream! This is our first official "full year"... thanks for being part of it!

I wanted to put this song up for you all. I love all of the old historic clips... I don't know why but I actually get a little teary eyed listening to this.

Pioneer...this year has been the best for me on a personal level. I had a full year with the love of my life,...my kids are healthy...so am I....I got to quit a job I no longer took joy in, I became engaged AND I got to take it easy for 9 months! My future looks exciting and intriguing as well! What I did NOT expect was this little crazy thought I had about blogging would turn into such a cool, wonderous thing!!!??? Who knew I'd make friends, be able to express myself and just have so much fun doing something I have loved doing since I was 7....write!!!??? I don't know what I would do if the stream closed up shop tomorrow. I'll do whatever it takes to keep it....streamin'...it's too precious to lose. I've been a member for only 3 months but man, what a ride and I dig the fact I can wake up later today and do it all over again...and the day after that and the day after that and th.... you get the idea! I don't know why but i also get really teary eyed too. It is supposed to be something (hopefully)better than the year before. I went out with my husband to the bar and he was wanting to come home like 15 minuted before 12....oh no not this year. I said no....we came there to see the New Year through and that is what we are going to do. I got a smoock from him and that was it. Not a good kiss but i guess i don't really know where our relationship is right now so i think that is about all i could expect. I am so sad and I love him so much. Thanks so much Pioneer. The blogstream has changed my life in so many ways. I have tried other blog sites but none compare to the sense of community that we have here. Even when the problems arise, just like in a real community, we work them out and everything is okay. The blogstream is the best. I am with you!! I don't know why every year i get the goosebumps when i hear this song. But hey!! what a way to start your new year!!
