I just added a (rudementary) Private Message feature on the blog comments. If you click PM, you can respond specifically to the person that left a comment. I still have to clean it up, but it seems to work. The "private" checkbox (if you see one) will be automatically checked and unchecking it will not work -- it sends an email message to the person directly using the comment system and then should return you back to the original blog post you sent from.

Things I will be adding shortly:

* A link in the Profile page to send someone a private message
* A link in the blog page to send a private message (on the right side)
* A "Referring Page" URL in the email you receive, to give you some reference as to where the person contacted you from (if they contacted you from a blog comment for example)
* A link in blog comment emails to respond back to the author using the private message feature.

By the way, if anyone sees a feature somewhere they thing would work well here, or has a new idea, just shout it out. If it is a good idea and easy to do, I'll do it right away.

I'm always looking for new ways to make navigation and site use easier.

I am looking into new features to add to the site... One of the more interesting ones is Audio Blogs. Basically you could pickup your phone, call a special phone number, and start talking. Your message would be available on your blog by clicking a button.

IF we offered "audio blogs", meaning you could pick up your phone and record a blog for people to listen to, rather than read...

* Would you realistically use it? (Not once or twice, but would you really be interested in using it long term).

* Would you be willing to pay a small monthly or yearly fee ($10-20 a year for example) for the ability to record blog messages this way? (assuming regular blogs stayed free as they are now).

* Would you listen to other peoples audio blogs, or would you rather read?
