This is just a general comment regarding taking part in blog comments.
Blogstream is a community -- there are many different types of people, with different beliefs, hopes, dreams, worries, etc. Unlike a group of friends you might hang out with in "the real world", online, you can instantly meet new and interesting people.
Blogstream is a place for people to be creative, open, and honest. When you are writing on your own blog, you can be yourself. When you go to another persons blog, consider it entering someone elses home. Try to be a little more careful how you word things or thing about what you say before you say it.
You may like to joke around with people, or maybe you are a heavily honest person... just try to tone down how you say things. It does not mean you can't speak your mind, but remember you are representing yourself.
If you are going on a job interview, and you think the head of the company is a moron and can't run the company well (and you could do a better job), you (most likely) would not walk in and say "Your an idiot and you run your company like crap." You would probably find some more constructive way to state your point. The moment someone hears something rude or offensive, they stop listening and get into battle mode -- after that, no matter what you say, they will usually ignore you or disagree.
This is not directed at anyone in particular, this is just a general comment to the community -- it does not mean "don't say what is on your mind", just think about how you are saying it. If you want to have the person actually respect your opinion sometimes you have to be diplomatic. Also, when you comment on other people's blogs you are in their house. Try to respect the way they say things.
